We played the 3rd match in just 8 days against an opponent who were in the same league with us every season so far. This time we were the hosts and it worked out well.
Erőd FC started very well as the team scored in five minutes. Rajmund Pifku held onto the ball quite well before passing it to Bálint Varga who arrived to the box just the right time. He did not miss the chance. Our quality of play was not as good as the previous matches, one could tell the team was mentally tired. However we defended really well and stuck together.
Our opponent tried to raise the tempo and push us into our own half, but did not manage to create big chances. Erőd FC could be dangerous from counters in the other hand and that is exactly how we scored again. Gergely Földesi received a ball from the right wing and immidiately set Balázs Kerényi up. The attacker kept his composure and scored. Spartacus pushed forward to break our defence, but we were very solid at the back. Most of their chances were shots from distance and we kept the clean sheet.
