On November 12, our team played a league match against Henger VL FC, during which visibility was very poor due to thick fog. Although both teams wanted to play the match to the end, the referee blew the whistle in the 57th minute.
After that, it was unclear whether the result achieved on the pitch would stand or whether the match would be replayed. However, despite leading 2-1 at the time of the stoppage, our opponents did everything in their power to get the ball rolling again. They were open and fair partners when we requested the postponement in September, and they remained open and willing to compromise on any issues that arose later on.
Our club would like to express its appreciation to Henger VL FC for acting in the spirit of fair play in every situation, keeping in mind the most beautiful values of amateur football. Amateur football needs clubs like this to be a healthy, developing community that is attractive to everyone.
We would like to thank Henger VL FC for their fairness and we will do our best to make the replay on November 30 a celebration of football!
